Tjitze Baarda Memorial Lecture
AnneMarie Luyendijk (1968) was the last Teaching Assistant of Tjitze Baarda at the Vrije Universiteit. She later wrote a PhD dissertation at Harvard, to ultimately grow into her current position as Professor of Religion and Head of Wilson College at Princeton University. Professor Luyendijk is an internationally renowned authority in textual criticism and the study of ancient manuscripts. She has published extensively in the field. In her lecture she will deal with highly understudied aspects of ancient manuscripts, especially the reuse of them in unexpected ways.
